Now once inside the castle I got some good gear from the water well, in the sewage room, and the backroom that Withermoore let me into to (behind source barrier). Also, if you do want to try the maze, because maybe there is more to it, there is an additional skull in a skeleton on the back corner of the castle you can get to before going into the maze. Low and behold I didn't need any skulls to get inside the castle. So I went in the first area, got the skull then left and looped around back (using telport to bring both characters) and climbed the vines. I figured the main objectives was to get inside the castle behind the maze. This portal leads unto a rock above the lava pool from which it is possible to reach to a ledge on which a dwarven skeleton lies. Firt portal to enter this place is behind a locked iron door, near fallen pillar (X:522,Y:101).
